I spent a week at the Marriott Waikiki on a business trip. My room was clean, spacious, and attractive. I had a "standard" room, with a view that was disappointing at first glance. However once out on the balcony, I had a view of both the ocean and Diamond Head, although Diamond Head was a partial view through the two... more

This hotel is perfect! Great location, beautiful rooms, outstanding service, We we're so thrilled with the experience here. Our package included a free daily breakfast and it was awesome. All tours pick up here, so it is very convenient. There are plenty of safe places to walk.We would recommend this property wholeheartedly! more

Third stop in the Islands after stops in Maui and Big Island. First the hotel itself - nice hotel, parking is a challenge and they charge you $24 a day to struggle with this very narrow parking garage. rip off! The breakfast buffett was okay, but they did something very smart. Waikiki is full of Japanese tourists and the restaraunt... more

It was a nice hotel from our side of the tower. We stayed at the suite tower floor was 17 I believe, beautiful views of the beach and the mountain. It was a nice experience nothing special. The hotel was across the street from the beach which became a hassle if you wanted to go there, but it was doable.... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week during work and play. The employees were very courteous and promptly took care of me when my keycard wouldn't work, or we just had a question. The valet parkers were always on their toes and very polite to everyone. Our room was cleaned beautifully everyday and the bed was... more

im very fond of marriott hotels and this hotel in no exception. Except for one fact my check in experience was not soo good as was any experience with the front desk agents. They always seemed to have an additude and be rude when asked simple questions almost as if we were bothering them with silly questions. first time i... more

Stayed for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend and had a great stay. Booked Oahu-Maui package through Pleasant Holidays. Requested an upper level odd numbered room on an upper floor at the advice of those on this site and it was great. View from the Lanai was spectacular for the fireworks. Even numbered rooms face Diamond Head odd... more

We loved this hotel. We had an amazing view from our balcony. The room was clean and neat. It was spacious. The hotel had several elevators. As well as shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Nice looking pool (I say looking because I didn't have time to get into it) and terrace with live music. We fell in love of... more

I've stayed in this hotel three times. Once, I was in the tower farther away from the beach, and twice I was in the tower closer to the beach. I got a partial ocean view room when I was in the tower closer to the beach. I enjoyed the views a lot, particularly early in the morning and late at... more

In may of 2008 my boyfriend and took a nice vacation to honolulu and stayed at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. We had a wonderful time and the hotel was beautiful. However, we noticed a few small bites on our back and arms when we woke up one morning. We didn't think much of it at first. We... more
