First let me say, I love Residence Inns generally, but his one is tired and inconvenient. There's a wonderful Residence Inn in Conshohocken (suburban Philly) and suggest that, if you're driving, you stay there. This one's almost impossible to find at night, ridiculously understaffed, and all the public areas appear less than clean (dirty doors and windows etc). In addition,... more

I wanted a reasonably priced hotel that would accomodate four adults in a single room. Most of the hotels I contacted only had room for 2 adults and rates started at around $200. For $149 I was able to get a livingroom/kitchen with dining table and a separate bedroom with 2 large beds. Everything about the room was perfect and... more

I stayed at this property 7/25-7/28. I only stay at Marriott but had never stayed at this Residence Inn. The price was almost too good to be true ($104/night) and when I checked in I mentioned to the desk clerk that at the end of this stay I would be at Silver Elite level with Marriott Rewards. She told me... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn for a July weekend and had a great time. Our suite on the 16th floor was spacious, clean and comfortable. We looked over City Hall and loved the view. We could hear no noise from the hotel, but you could hear city noise outside, even from the 16th floor. Breakfast was excellent and the... more

My family of 3 stayed at this property for a Saturday night at the end of June. We booked at 1 bedroom suite for one night. We paid $37 to valet park our car, we probably could have found a spot for a little less money but after 4 hours in the car it really didn't seem worth it to... more

We spent a long time trying to figure out the difference between the 3 Marriott's all within a block of eachother in downtown Philly. (regular Marriott, Courtyard, and this Residence Inn) We finally chose the Residence Inn because we are a family of 4 and for the same price you get twice as much space plus free hot breakfast (the... more

The location of this hotel is perfect - right across the street from City Hall and around the corner from many other hotels (two other Marriott properties, as well as the Four Seasons). You are within easy walking distance of most of the sights, shops and restaurants (except perhaps S. Philly). It is also very, very easy to reach from... more

This hotel was the 6th hotel and second to the last stop on a long road trip with three kids so our 2 bedroom unit pleased all of us. The rate of $189/night was a good deal considering the town was packed for Olympic Trials in gymnastics. After looking at off property parking options we decided to bite the bullet... more

Hotel was in good shape. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Location is great! We parked our car and did not use it again until we left. Booked our package through "gophila.com" so our parking was included (otherwise it was a whopping $75 for two nights!!!) Staff was a bit inconsistant...either "extremely helpful and pleasant" or "bored and... more

The hotel has many issues. The 1st room were were given smelled like cigarette smoke and they were able to send us to another room. This room was about 100 sq. ft smaller. Due to fire code the hotel does not provide roll away beds. This was never disclosed to us during booking. The bed issue is a problem with... more
