We stayed at the Mandarin in San Fran twice - at the beginning and at the end of our trip to the US West Coast. The service - starting from the check-in to the cleaning service - was impeccable, smooth and just perfect. Upon arrival, we checked into a stunning room which had wonderful views across the bay, the Golden... more
We loved everything about this hotel. The room had all of the usual perks: the fabulous sheets and tasteful furnishings of a 5 star hotel, but what really set this hotel apart was the amazing service and fabulous views. The view from our room and from the hallways leading to our room on the 48th floor were worth the price alone.... more
I expected alot more from this Mandarin. Management had absolutely no regard for the patrons. They closed the lounge on a Friday nite for a private party without any prior notice to guests and summarily told us to get out. They made no attempt at satisfying us with anything. All we got were a bunch of "I"m sorry's". Only two... more

Visited this property for the first time on July 4th. The customer service was outstanding! From the moment we entered the small, welcoming lobby we were greeted and promptly helped. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was amazing. Clean. Spacious. View. Bed. Shower. Everything. There was even a refreshing smell as you entered the room that was... more
We arrived at this hotel 4 hours prior to check-in time and they still had our room ready for us! Our intital impression of the hotel was that it was very luxurious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a bridge to bridge room, and as you can see from my photos, we had a spectacular view... more
What more can you say about the best hotel in town.Everything a good hotel should do for its guests, but this hotel does it better. The staff treat you as family and good friends more
The only place to stay in San Francisco. They say the Queen room is only for business travellers but we thought it was as good as the King. Go for a bay view rooms and you won't be disappointed, it really is worth it! more
It was the first stop of our my Honeymoon... booked on site and reviewed. It is expensive but if you can stretch the budget do it. We were on the 48th floor on a corner , the room was fab , staff , very helpful, friendly etc .I would really give this place 10 out of 10. , good central... more
