Loved it! What a classic look. Beautiful rooms and gorgeous pool..Even if you're not planning on swimming, must take a look at it! Excellent location on Miracle Mile,,Walking distance to everything! Our room was large and very well furnished. The location was very convenient for shopping, family and visiting attractions. Many fine resturants nearby. The staff was efficient and polite, I would definitely return. more

Our room was dirty upon check in. Covered in dust, the trash had not been taken out, there were price tags and old papers on the tables andned, and were told that someone would be right up. The staff is wonderful, a great bar, coffee in the morning, fabulous in-room robes - all located on The Fabulous Miracle Mile! There is nowhere else in Chicago I would rather stay. more

Stayed here for two days while attending Lollopalooza music festival. One of the best locations in Chicago, on Michigan Ave near the Tribune and Sun-Times buildings. Arrived earlier than check-in, and was able to get my room right away. That was a plus! Room was nicely appointed and had plenty of room, including a nice loveseat near the windows. Nice Flat screen TV worked great. Bathroom was large and very nice soaps etc. Also, Coffee maker in the bathroom was nice for an early morning cup... more

We highly recommend the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. We have stayed there twice and were very, very happy with the accomodations and the service.They were both above our expectations.
