Stayed here for a week with the kids to visit Disney World and the hotel is impressive with the animals wandering around the various savannahs. The buses were relatively convenient to most of the parks and transfers to and from the airport went off without a hitch. There were various activities throughout the day that were fun though we were... more

Zebra's mummy was how we were woken every morning as our 2 year old opened the curtains to watch the zebras, gazelle and giraffe that were wondering around the savannah right outside our room. and it just got better from there. the breakfast was outstanding whether sit down in Boma or informally outside from the take-out station. and then we... more

My Mother took our family here for Spring Break and while the rooms were much smaller than they look in the pictures, over all the property was very nice. The kids had a blast. Bunk Beds were helpful! The animals really do stroll right under your balcony which is very exciting for the kids. Great staff and service, mostly African.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge as part of a week-long Disneyworld vacation. We loved the ambiance of the whole lodge -- the enormous lobby, the animal viewing areas and our room. The front desk was extremely helpful to me -- our suitcase was severely damaged on the flight in and I lost some medication. They... more

My wife and I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge for our honeymoon and could not have picked a better location. Everything about the resort is Disney quality, but without the cartoonish feel of some other Disney properties. The food at Boma was surprisingly good, and since my wife is a vegetarian it was nice to see that the Mara served... more

I have dreamed of staying at this hotel for a few years and it was well worth the wait. What a beautiful place. The kids loved it!! Where else can you wake up and say "Let's see if the giraffe or zebra are out this morning??" We were not disappointed and saw many animals. More than I had imagined. The... more

We have just returned from a holiday in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had been told that building work was going on and had read reviews that said they saw and heard building work while staying there. I have got to say we never heard or saw a thing, if there was building work going on we were not aware... more

From the second you walk in the door, you are bathed in warm, earthy scents. We were there for the holidays and the tree was breathtaking. The wall opposite the entrance is several stories of solid glass with subtle metal vines from floor to ceiling and looks out over a fire pit used for nightly story telling and animals. The... more

I could go on and on about the Animal Kingdom Lodge… If you’re into animals, and the whole African/Safari theme, then this is the perfect place for you. We stayed on the 2nd floor – which has a terrace that looked right out onto the “Savannah.” A complete, unobstructed view of the animals… complete with rocking chairs and binoculars. We... more
