My wife and I went to Hotel Palomar for one day and night to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. They were able to accommodate an early check-in, and offered a complimentary upgrade to a larger room when we asked if it were possible. Just came back from a stay at the Hotel Palomar and loved this hotel. I went there with my husband and two daughters ages 14 and 11. Stayed for 7 nights and every one was great. Clean, quiet rooms. Great service from the hotel staff. Nice decor. The only complaint was for some reason we didn't get fresh bathroom supplies every day, but this was fixed straight away when we complained. All in all this was a great place to stay. more

Hotel charged us for a room service meal we did not order. Bill was corrected at check out, but hotel re-billed our credit card a few days later. This hotel is in the middle of Dupont Circle, with a million drunks walking and driving. The parking is an absolute joke. The hotel was in the perfect location in a great neighborhood. Walking to the corner Starbucks for coffee in the morning, there was a jazz band playing for customers having brunch outside. The atmosphere at the Palomar was lively, without being manic, the staff were extremely personable and welcoming.
