From 24th to 28th August 2008 we stayed at Capo D' Africa to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We mentioned this to them when booking and on arrival they upgraded us to a super room and presented us with a chilled bottle of champagne! They couldn't have been friendlier throughout our stay. The hotel is cool contemporary and rather slick.... more

The hotel is 5 mins from the Colosseum which is beautiful. Take your WALKING SHOES because it is the other side of all the main sights - 15 mins to the main plaza from which you then need to keep walking away from the hotel ... The staff were great, housekeeping maintained an excellent standard, breakfast was a bit disappointing... more

We spent 3 days at the Capo D'Africa booking to adjoining twin rooms for our 4 family members. The rooms were spacious and light and well stocked with interesting extras, although we found the mini-bar a little too tempting. All staff are welcoming and friendly from those on reception to the breakfast staff, room service and porters. The breakfast served... more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our recent visit to Rome. Check-in staff were very friendly and very helpful, eager to show us a map and where we were in relation to the tourist sights. Our room was massive - huge king bed and moderately furnished. As others have said, it is only a 5 min... more

We stayed here for one week at the end of July/early August having booked based on reviews mainly on this site. We took a train and metro from the airport because i'd been to Rome... more

We stayed at the Hotel Capo d'Africa for three nights at the end of a cruise and loved it. The rooms are large, extremely comfotable and very clean and well kept. Check-in was quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and reservations for restaurants and tours. Breakfast was included in our room charge and was excellent... more

The hotel was immaculately clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English well. The room was large and well air-conditioned; a welcome break from the heat outside. I would highly recommend this hotel. more

The best part of this hotel was the large size of the rooms. When we walked in I didn’t believe we were in a hotel in Europe since the room and the bathroom was so big. The room and bathroom were also both very clean too. The one problem with the bathroom was that the temperature on the shower changed... more

I have stayed other places in Rome before, and to be close to many attractions and in the city, this hotel is great. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had a nice TV. Lobby was very modern and staff was great. Breakfast was ok nothing special. more

We loved this hotel, its location was just a few minutes walk from the Colleseum. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept. The rooftop terrace was great for relaxing after a day seeing the sights. more
