We returned to the Villa Real in May '08 having visited once before in 2001. It was still top-notch. Rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. Staff is ultra-helpful. my wife and I stayed 4 nights at the Villa Real on a vacation trip thru Spain. The hotel was ideally located for our needs; walking distance to the top museums, tapas neighborhoods, and old Madrid.
