This hotel was okay, but defnitely not 3 1/2 stars. The room was small, smokey, and outdated. The location was very central for what we wanted to do, but the street/block itself (including the surrounding views from the room) were not ideal. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. The A/C was not working in our room and the only suggestion from staff was to leave the windows open. Not a bad deal @ $185 per night, close to Granville Island and a short walk to English Bay. Wouldnt stay again though. Flea bites!! ( they allow pets) , broken coffee pot which they replaced, bad restaurant, but pleasant staff. I'll stay at the Best Western across the street next time. more

Superb hotel, great staff, so friendly and helpful (especially Ivanca and Albert) best hotel in Vancouver. Great rooms quiet, very close to Granville island too. We extended our stay it was so good. more

Made reservation on their website for 2 rooms but on arival they could only fine one despite me having 2 reservation reference numbers! A bit of I.T. work required! Rooms are small but clean. There was a problem with the air ventalation on our floor which circulated tobacco smoke into non smoking rooms and the corridor. more
