My husband and I spent 8 unforgettable days at the Mayan Palace - Marina in Puerta Vallarta. From the day we arrive until our departure was magnificent. The resort was beautiful, the staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The landscaping of the grounds - very refreshing. The food was tasty and very delicious, and drinks was always available. I... more

Puerto Vallarta is a really nice vacation spot. We went for 8 days on our honeymoon and plan to go back again in a few years for an anniversary. The Mayan Palace is older, but nice. We really enjoyed our trip! People warned us about the "crocodiles" - agents who relentlessly pursue you to buy a timeshare. We'd been warned... more

We stayed at the Mayan Palace via a time-share exchange for the week of June 8. When we got to the resort, the clerk assigned us to a nice suite with a balcony on the third floor of the main building which runs parallel to the road that runs in front of it and around the marina. The suite was... more

We had just bought our timeshare and this was the first place we stayed this past week. You arrive to a beautiful scenery all over from waterfalls to long golf courses. The hotel lobby has a wonderful flow all throughout the entrance with no doors just large hallways that are inside/outside. Check in was breeze and we had 3 different... more

Had a wonderful time. The staff were excellent and the grounds were beautiful. Once we found the Marina, walking distance from the hotel, we had everything. Victor's was a fun place for dinner and served an excellent breakfast. Others guests at the hotel told us about Victor's and we wished we had found it sooner. more

We got our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite as a wedding present from my husbands aunt. She has a timeshare with RCI and that is all I really understand about the whole situation. Anyway, we had an excellent time here. The staff did anything we asked them to do. My husband turned 30 during the week we where there. I... more

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful city with some fantastic restaurants, bars, and sights to see. We were enjoying the place enough that we decided to look into purchasing a time share with our resort, the Mayan Palace. It is a very pretty resort, with good food, a nice beach and a great pool area. We sat down with a very... more

I just came back from the mayan palace at the marina. the hotel was lovely and room was very nice. Thought the king size bed was comfy but my 2 children 20,21 said the sleep sofa that was like a trundle bed was very uncomfortable. The people were all very friendly EXCEPT the time share people. They are like vulgers... more

We traded in our timeshare this year and booked this through RCI. I was well prepared for their high pressure "welcome breakfast" and firmly told the lady on check-in that we were on vacation and had absolutely no interest in buying one of their timeshares. That's all there was to it. They left my family alone for the rest of... more

Stay away from the Time Share presentation!! My family and I used an RCI exchange to stay at this resort last week and while the resort itself is decent, has an OK pool - needs resurfacing, lovely grounds and the wait/maid staff are incredibly friendly, the salespeople at the timeshare presentation are OVERBOARD. We were genuinely interested in what they... more
